A Character Study Of Noah

A Character Study Of Noah

There are many interesting bible characters we learn about as we study God's word. One of our favorite characters is Noah who found grace in the eyes of God and survived the great flood that washed away the sinful world. This allowed Noah and his family to step out of the ark into a new world. With this sermon, Thaxter Dickey gives us an interesting and thorough look at the life of Noah.

"And He Died"

"And He Died"

Our sermon this week is a flashback from years ago. During the early 90's our regular preacher, Phil Roberts, returned to school to earn his doctorate and in his absence, Marty Pickup preached at Antioch regularly for about two years. This sermon is from that period of time. Both of these preachers have since passed away and have gone to their reward and they are both missed very much.

This sermon emphasizes Genesis 5, a chapter where God reminds us that we all must die even since the beginning of time. It's comforting to hear Marty speak about this subject knowing he has already faced the very thing that we must also face as we follow his footsteps.
